Why Poodle

There are several wonderful breeds of different character and temperaments.
I have experienced many different breeds throughout the years, but there
are none that compare to poodles. Poodles come in 4 different sizes – which make them
unique – and this makes them able to conform to families with different needs and situations.

It is the standards that are my burning interest. They are an active breed that
crave both mental stimulation and attention, probably more than most
people really understand until they learn to know a standard.

My goals as a breeder are to bring out the best in the breed: I pay close
attention to the mental status of my dogs, their physical health and how they
are built exteriorly. Another detail I highly regard is “poodliness,” and attitude which
I believe build their character and is essential for a poodle.

There are no guarantees when working with living creatures, but I believe that if you
work with a certain set of goals in mind, you can bring positive things to the breed and its future.

The poodle can be trained to do much more than just being a “companion”.
They can be trained to seeing-eye dogs, used as scent dogs by customs agents, and are
often seen winning in the rings of agility and obedience competitions.

Another fascinating thing with poodle is the ability to change their appearance
with hair styles. Their coat grows about 1 centimeter per
month and can be formed and changed often.

If you are considering a poodle as a family member, you will be offered many
wonderful moments filled with laughter so it is important that you have a good sense of humor!
